Panasonic Dect 6.0 Series Dual Handset Cordless Phone System with Answering System (KX-TG1032S)

This is a compact cordless phone and answering machine. Sound clarity is good. The second handset is very useful, it gives you a phone in a room that may not have a phone jack. (The manual says you can buy several more handset and expand the phone system to 4 handsets).
There are some nice features like creating frequently called numbers on one handset and propagating it to all handsets.
The price for the features is very good.
The number of messages stored on the answering machine is not displayed; This is the only reason I did not give this phone 5 stars.

Nice Phone.Smaller then our old one & you may be accidently hitting keys before you get use to it.Very light.I don't understand why on these cordless phones they don't make the ear piece fit your ear better.They are all alike.Except for that its a good phone for the price.

I have been looking for a good digital set for some time now. After much research and stuff I first went with phillips 450 which had all the stuff I needed like 100 Name in each phone book, hand set speaker and design was great with the price was lowest but the batter wouldn't last long and I returned it. Next I bought GE google one which also was pretty good but can't access the phone book while doing 3 way and also would lock up and had to unplug to get it fix every time it did it, so returned it. Now I bought the Panasonic sets.
Pros:
1.so many review means a lot of people have bought them...
2. Hand sets comes with speaker and clips
3. Battery life is supper.
4. can access the phone book while trying to do 3 way call.
5. Ring tones r very nice. my 3 year old starts dancing every time i get a call now.
6. no interruption. My home is full of blue tuth, wireless stuff and no problem talking...
7. can ctrl normall volume and speaker volume
8. Buttons r big and voice message light indicator (and it works for vonage voice messages which r not stored in the machine)
Cons.
1. Volume is too low. Even though i have no problem hearing(though both my other sets had louder volume than this), my wife has complained about it and she uses the speaker system when she talks so its not that bad. but we talk with people out side USA all the time, so some times it seems that sound is not clear but its actually that sound is delayed...
2. very light made. i have a GE $15 cordless which was dropped 20+ time and still works but I feel like if i drop them they will break.
3. buttons doesn't light up.
4. Wall mount came for the main set but not for the small one. so putting up the main one with wires on the wall doesn't make sense to me. I wish the small base would ahve come with one so that I can put it up in the kichen...
Over all i am very happy with both the sets.
I don't use the message system so can't say whether its good or bad.

I purchased this Panasonic after reading the reviews on Amazon and the overall high rating. Used this phone for about a week, before returning it. I will review both the product, and Amazon's return process, since it was my first time in last 5 years, when I started using Amazon .
Panasonic Dect 6.0 Phone:
Pros:
- Good, stylish looks.
- Handset is designed & contoured for comfortable grip for longer time. It is good for those who do long tele-conversations.
- Lot of options to configure and address book and voice mail.
- Decent battery life for handsets. Never had any issues with that.
Cons:
- Only issue I had was the poor voice quality. We compared this phone with the regular phone,which came with the service and the other one was much better.
It could be an issue with that specific piece we got. So, I returned it to Amazon.
Amazon Returns Process:
- Very easy and customer-friendly.
- Everything is online. No need to call them. Just go to your order and click on Refund an Item.
- Once you finish the process, it generates a return slip and a USPS mailing label.
- All you have to do is put the product back in a box (it helps if you saved the original shipping box) with the slip,glue the mailing label, and either schedule a pickup, drop it outside your door for mailman to pickup or drop it in the nearest post office.
- Once Amazon receives it back, they will refund your money including the shipping, taxes etc.

This cordless phone is quite neat.The sound quality is good and the range is excellent.I like the phonebook setup as you can see the person who is calling although I do not have the call waiting feature available on my service.The answering machine works well also.I would recommend this model telephone to anyone.
