- Only just likableMy feeling about this production is that they ripped through the story so fast you barely saw it go by. It made a shambles out of the intricacies of the story line--but the saving grace is that the actors save it. They are very good, especially the two romantic leads. I also very much appreciated Carey Mulligan's performance. After seeing what she has done with completely different characters in other movies, she has such range. She seemed quite "despicable" here! So overall a pleasant but frustrating (in terms of meat to the story) watch.

This is the adaptation to watch again and again. Felicity Jones is charming, JJ Field is completely yummy, the pace of the movie is good, it's well acted - just an all around fun movie. Three cheers for Austen and Masterpiece Theater! And FOUR cheers for JJ Field! :)
