I ordered this book for my granddaughter who is 8.She loves to read and loves to use big words.However, the book is geared more toward a 4 or 5 year old and is not suitable.I have not returned the book but will give it to my just born granddaughter when the time comes.Amazon should readdress the age appropriateness stated for this book.

I learned a bunch of new words in this silly book about girls. My favorite words in the story are on the "G" page: Gorgeous and Glamorous. My Mom says that I am gorgeous. The book says that so-in-so is glamorous. I also like the "D" word "Dapper." I told my Dad he was "diaper" today and he laughed. I had to show him the page so he would understand; that made him laugh more! I also like to say the "O" word "Ooh la la!"This ... Read More

My 3 1/2 year old was excited when she got it and a month later asks for it to be read. She loves learning new words so it made sense to buy a book that has the character she loves who also loves to learn the words within.

I bought this for my 4 year old granddaughter who is definitely a girly girl! She is also behind in her reading ability. She loved this book and it really fired her interest much to my delight.
