Rating:
- Very helpful and accessible
I used this book to help prepare my apps this cycle and found it very useful. Ivey offers candid and specific advice for all steps of the application process while keeping her writing engaging and quick to read (a valuable trait when you're working full-time and applying to school on the side!).
Marketing myself does not come naturally to me, so I was happy to get tips on how to pick content for my personal statement and resume that made me stand out more. The sample essays and resumes ... Read More

- Better than Kaplan's Admissions Consulting
This book is an excellent overview of each part of the admissions process. It is clear and easy to read and offers significant advice.I recommend this book over paying hundreds if not thousands of dollars for Kaplan Admissions Consulting. This book tells you everything that my "consultant" has told me but leaves you feeling much more upbeat and optimistic without spending the extra cash.An excellent buy.

- Perfect for all needs
This was well done. Referred to it often and helped guide me through this process on many larger issues as well as what may seem to be minor issues.
I credit this book with my acceptance and making Law Review in my first year. Thank you.

- A MUST READ!
This is a good book that giveshelpful advice. It also points you into the right direction as far as the application process and what to expect. You may also want to look at Richard Montauk's most recently released guide and/ or the Princeton Review. These books offer information that you will not find it Ivey's book. However, this book is still provides quite a bit of useful information.
