- very cute book about welcoming a new baby to the house
I got this book for my son who is 3 years old. I am pregnant with our second child and I wanted to have a book to reinforce the idea of a new baby on the way :-0
He loved the Critter books and I thought this would be a good one to try out and it worked. I love that it is realistic and talks about what a new baby will not do (laugh at jokes, be interested in his toys etc) while giving ideas of what a young child can do with a new baby (hold hands).

My kids have always loved critter books and when my 2 year old daughter saw the cover for this one on the back of another, she asked if we could find this one.My local Borders didn't have it, but ordering it here was easy and relatively quick.Her favorite part is when little sister bonks Critter on the nose!

My daughter is 2 years old we are expecting another baby soon and i thought it would be a good idea to get her some big sister books, i spent hours online trying to find something that would hit her on her age level and make her understand i got a few but this one she loves!! she reads it about 5 times a day and although i know she doesn't get the full concept of a new baby at her age this book certainly helps let her see that others have new babies coming too.. My daughter likes this book, but it's really written for a boy who is getting a baby sister.Even though the genders are wrong, my daughter still enjoys it, and it sends a great message that baby's get a lot of attention, but they are really something special in your life.

My kids love this book. It help them becaus they got a new baby sister and the was a little hard for them because they didn't no what to do with a baby. This book help them out and I love books that are that way.
