It is just my personal taste, but I consider this not a nice way to train your dog. There are other methods out there that use different methods.

- Necessary For All Dog Owners
After reading Cesar's first book and becoming familiar with his training and teaching methods, I struggled with translating those techniques to suit what my dog needed and what I wanted. This book made it all come together and more.
I highly recommend this book and suggest reading Cesar's first book in addition.

If you are a regular viewer of National Geographic's The Dog Whisperer, Be the Pack Leader will not contain any "new" information foryou. Having said this, this book is still a must read for the dog lover as Cesar Millan goes in depth (something he cannot do on the show) on how to be the pack leader in your home.

I was interested in learning about Cesar's life.I think his advice is good for large agressive dogs but not so much for dog training for small dogs.
