I ordered this item in late March 2009, and it has not yet arrived, as of May 1, 2009. I contacted the seller and was told to expect a refund, but that has not happened. I am very frustrated.

The Cookies book has recepies for all the choices and tastes. The pictures are beutifull and the cookies are delicious. Highly recommended.

Love how the chapters are organized;
Love the variety of cookies;
Love that there are tons of pictures (I hate all text cookbooks!);
Love the size; doesn't hog countertop space;
Love that there are super easy recipes for when time or energy is low, and more complex recipes for times when you want or need to impress.

I liked the way that this book was organized, with the pictures in the table of contents and the cookies organized into sections by texture. I've already tried several of the recipes and had no problems with the instructions even though I've never really baked before. There were some baking equipment and ingredients that I didn't have, but the cookies still tasted great.

I love this book. I bake cookies every Monday for my staff and this book has provided me with not only great recipes but wonderful tips and tricks. Martha Stewart writes clear and concise recipes that anyone can follow. I particularly like how there is a picture of every cookie in the beginning of the book under types of cookies: soft/chewy, crispy, delicate...etc. Totally worth the money! PS the snicker doodle recipe is amazing.
