I bought this book for my husband as part of his birthday gift.it was his favorite gift!Anyone that has an interest in Cesar Millan and what he does with dogs will love this book.It is also a little peek into Cesars family life.Enjoy!

Cesar's "methods" are questionable at best, and this book proved to be no different than his TV show and previous books - emphasizing flooding, force, and dominating your dog.
Techniques like the "alpha roll" and "scruff shake" aren't founded in what science now knows, but rather in what science thought about the behavior of wolves - a completely different species - and captive wolves, at that. Additionally, these techniques are outright dangerous for professional dog trainers (of which ... Read More

This book arrived on time in perfect condition. I have all the books Cesar has written,have watched all his shows, and "my pack" has gotten so much more controlled. And, I not longer have to pretend to be the Leader, Cause now with Cesar on my shoulder all the time,I AM THE LEADER OF MY PACK.
My kids watch his show also,they each have dogs of their own and belive in Cesars ways too. Oh wait, thats a book I have too.I just wish my chihuahua would read and save me some work,he's been the hardest so ... Read More

This book keeps telling you what you should do to "make a great dog" but it never tells you how.For example, the section on leash training which is a whole 2 paragraphs long never actually talks about leash training-Cesar says he thinks a dog is never too young to be leash trained and that it is very important but never mentions a word on how to properly do it.So if you want to read 200 pages of what you are supposed to do but never get any input on how to do it then this would be the book for you. ...
