Product Description:
achel has always been the good girl-until her thirtieth birthday, when her longtime friend Darcy throws her a party. That night, after too many drinks, Rachel ends up in bed with Darcy's fianc. Rachel is completely horrified. She pretends it didn't happen, maybe it will all go away-and so will her feelings for this guy. She prays for fate to intervene, but when she makes a choice she discovers that the lines between right and wrong are blurry, endings aren't always neat, and you have to risk all to win true happiness. This debut novel about falling in love with the one guy you shouldn't has already won praise from New York Times bestselling authors including Marian Keyes, Lauren Weisberger, Alisa Valdes-Rodriguez, and Meg Cabot and is destined to 'inspire pathologically nice girls everywhere.'*

- Couldn't put it down!
A group of friends gave this book to me as part pool themed birthday bag (I was headed to Key West). I read the majority of it on the three hour plan ride to Florida because I JUST COULDN'T PUT IT DOWN! From the first page, I felt for Rachael, the underdog who tried to do everything the right way, putting everyone else before herself. This book was a page turner and I've re-read it several times as well as given it as a gift numerous times.
Rating:
- Did not feel sympathetic for Rachel ...although that didn't stop me from loving the book.
Something Borrowed is a great book, and even though I didn't like Rachel's character, I think the situation that the writer created is one that a lot of girls happen to embark. I think every girl must read this book. This book is simply sending out the message that you should go for whatever you want or who ever you love, and thats a message I absolutely love.

My Review
When I first became a book review blogger, I was preparing my Books Page for the website.I went through my books and input them all into The Library Thing. Now, of course, there are many books that I've read over the years that have since left my home never to return. However, somehow over the past 5 years, books have started to stay and my book collection born.
I finally purchased a bookcase and was excited to organize all of my books. That's when ... Read More

I had never read any of Emily Griffon's books until a friend of mine sent me this one in the mail.Boy had I been missing out.She is such a wonderful author.I opened the book, started reading, and couldn't put it down until I was half way through it.Now I'm almost finished and I'm looking into buying some of her other books. If you want an easy read that is easy to follow this is the book for you.I call it my beach read because I just relax and zone out when I read this book. You should ... - Difficult to put down...
What a great read.Sitting in the NYC subways for three hours per day allows me to read many books. This book is about a 29 year old woman named Rachel who hails from Indiana and is a successful lawyer making six figures in NYC.Darcy is Rachel's childhood friend.Darcy is beautiful and works in PR, but is not the intellectual type and is known by many to have a mean streak.Rachel introduces Darcy to her friend Dex (who she went to NYU Law School with) and they develop a relationship with plans ...
