Product Description:

Personal vendettas, hidden treasure, and a monkey named Carl will send bounty hunter Stephanie Plum on her most explosive adventure yet.

The Crime:Armed robbery to the tune of nine million dollars

Dom Rizzi robbed a bank, stashed the money, and did the time. His family couldn’t be more proud. He always was the smart one.

The Cousin:Joe Morelli

Joe Morelli, Dom Rizzi, and Dom’s sister, Loretta, are cousins. Morelli is a cop, Rizzi robs banks, and Loretta is a single mother waiting tables at the firehouse. The all-American family.

The Complications:Murder, kidnapping, destruction of personal property, and acid reflux

Less than a week after Dom’s release from prison, Joe Morelli has shadowy figures breaking into his house and dying in his basement. He’s getting threatening messages, Loretta is kidnapped, and Dom is missing.

The Catastrophe:Moonman

Morelli hires Walter “Mooner” Dunphy, stoner and “inventor” turned crime fighter, to protect his house. Morelli can’t afford a lot on a cop’s salary, and Mooner will work for potatoes.

The Cupcake:Stephanie Plum

Stephanie and Morelli have a long-standing relationship that involves sex, affection, and driving each other nuts. She’s a bond enforcement agent with more luck than talent, and she’s involved in this bank-robbery-gone-bad disaster from day one.

The Crisis:A favor for Ranger

Security expert Carlos Manoso, street name Ranger, has a job for Stephanie that will involve night work. Morelli has his own ideas regarding Stephanie’s evening activities.

The Conclusion:Only the fearless should read Fourteen.

Thrills, chills, and incontinence may result.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Series Getting Boring and Repetitive
Another typical installment of Stepahnie Plum -- car damage, Bob pooping, crazies following her around, Grandma getting into trouble. It's hard to believe these last few books are from the same series as the great books that started it all out.

And where was Ranger? The fact that Stephanie still hasn't made a decision between the two has gone on way too long, but I never expected either of them to practically be written out of the series...

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Typical Stephanie Plum
I held off on purchasing the Kindle version due to what I felt was an outrageous initial price and poor reader reviews.Once the Kindle price dropped I went ahead and purchased the book.I was surprised by the negative reviews since I felt the book was pretty much on par with the other Stephanie Plum books.I had some laugh out loud moments and enjoyed the book.It wasn't my favorite of the series; however, it was still entertaining, which is what I expect from the author.

I have not received this book, I checked to see when it would come but is now long past due. Everything else I ordered has come in a timely fashion.

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Save your time and your money!
Ok Ms. Evanovich, I'm going to give you one more chance
after this and then I'm done with Stephanie!.. As a big
fan of Evanovich's earlier Stephanie Plum novels, they are
getting increasingly stale, boring, and repetitive.
And, if she head slaps herself or Grandma does something totally
unbelieveable AGAIN, that's it for me.
ENOUGH!
What happened to the humor and fun of SEVEN UP????????
I never thought I'd say it but Evanovich has failed to deliver ... Read More

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Did we read the same book?
After reading many reviews by other readers on this book, I almost passed up reading it.I am a Stephanie Plum/Janet Evanovich fan and devour any books I find about her or by her.
Well, let me give my opinion after reading this book in a single sitting.I thought it was good.I laughed in some places, got irritated at Stephanie in her dithering between Joe and Ranger, loved grandma Mauzer in her role as gammer, and enjoyed Lula's engagement delima with Tank.Janet is good at developing ...
