Product Description:

Dark forces are at work at the House of Night and fledgling vampyre Zoey Redbird’s adventures at the school take a mysterious turn. Those who appear to be friends are turning out to be enemies. And oddly enough, sworn enemies are also turning into friends. So begins the gripping third installment of this “highly addictive series” (Romantic Times), in which Zoey’s mettle will be tested like never before. Her best friend, Stevie Rae, is undead and struggling to maintain a grip on her humanity. Zoey doesn’t have a clue how to help her, but she does know that anything she and Stevie Rae discover must be kept secret from everyone else at the House of Night, where trust has become a rare commodity.Speaking of rare: Zoey finds herself in the very unexpected and rare position of having three boyfriends. Mix a little bloodlust into the equation and the situation has the potential to spell social disaster.Just when it seems things couldn’t get any tougher, vampyres start turning up dead. Really dead. It looks like the People of Faith, and Zoey’s horrid step-father in particular, are tired of living side-by-side with vampyres. But, as Zoey and her friends so often find out, how things appear rarely reflects the truth…

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Hope they can save this sinking ship
I have to say the premise is interesting, and the whole atmosphere of the Vampire High School is cool. But, Zoey is a main character that's pretty hard to like. I don't think she has any redeeming qualities that make you want to get behind her (ya she has an awesome tattoo and affinity for the elements, but that is just something she got free, like someone being blonde or having blue eyes. Her internal dialogue is immature and vapid, and she treats everyone around her pretty lousy).

The author kept repeating herself. The book got very boring since you had to keep re-reading the same information.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Huge waste of my time.
I barely finished this book. There were many times while I was reading when I wanted to throw this book in the trash where it belongs. But I held out hoping that Zoe would show a little bit of good jugdment or self control and redeem herself but that never happened.By the end of the book I hated her more then I ever could have hated the actual villians in this story.I have no intention of reading any more about Zoe as far as I am concerned she is the most despicable person I have ever read.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great story and an easy read!
I really liked the story line and the characters. The books are just the right length and were never boring.I cannot wait for Book 6.I love to read, but have little time so this series was perfect for me.Lent the entire series to a friend and she loved it too.I am definately going to hold onto the books for when my daughter is of age.I think she will really like them.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - not yet sure.
I have read every book in this series so far.And I so far think that Zoey Redbird is a caring yet shelfish charter. The series it self is interesting to say the least I however dont know about the vampires also being witches thing going on there.... I will finish out the series like I do any series that I start but it will not be on my top series to recommend.also I wish that they would make the books longer.I mean I understand that they are geared for young adults but y.a. have read thick books ...
