It was a good read.The story was slow to start especially the first part but once Win comes home it moves briskly ahead.Never felt anything for the lead characters.They are just ok.
The secondary charectars are intriguing.Can't wait to read Leo's story.And Cam,I loved him in the book.Mostly the recurring characters in the series get dull esp.once they are married with all the air of suspense/charm gone from them,but Cam seems to have retained it.His scenes with everyone is the best part of ... I found this book to be typical Kleypass.

The characters are quite intense and likeable.The main drawback is that they took so long to get together.

I look forward to Leo's story.

I thought SMAS was better than the first book in the series Mine Til Midnight. The story of Merripen and Win which started with the first book, was much more appealing to me. I also liked the comic relief of Leo and Miss Marks as supporting characters and look forward to seeing their story continued. My one small gripe is I thought the connection between Merripen and Cam was a little too predictable. However, it was still well written so not a big deal.

After the first Hathaway book in which i read about Kev and Win , i was waiting to read their story.Kev is intense, loyal and totally in love with Win.He is ready to do anything for her.Every woman's dream man.
Since is not a socially accepted he does not want to marry Win and have her exposed to a world of rejection.Very noble of him.But Win has other ideas.The book is about the journey both take.The pain , the longing and love for each other.
I loved the book.A definite buy.
