i loved this book. it was very well written. i liked the charactars a lot, especially Kate.read this book. it's one of the best books i have ever read.

Save you money or borrow it from the library. This was a book that appeared to have a lot of potential...but fell flat. The over-all idea was good, but it was not executed very well at all. The illustrations are darling, but that's about all the book has going for it. it was torture to force myself to read the entire thing. I will not be buying the sequel.

My 10 year old daughter got the book for Christmas and as soon as she started reading it she would not put it down. She spent all of her time reading it and stayed up until 9.00 p.m. in the evening. She loved it so much she decided it was her favorite book and is now begging me to buy her the next one.

It gives a great ending to each chapter, and it kind of pulls you onto the next page.I was always getting out my flashlight to read some more at night after bed-time!For all you adventure-loving people, this is the book for you!
