- A Good Read
I really enjoyed the book. The book begins with Jane being a little girl with an imaginary friend, Michael in which they both have the same mutual love for each other. The girl's mother had little time for her and the friend was with her to make sure she grows up to be a well balanced adult. When she turns nine, the friend has to go away, but the children with the imaginary friends are not supposed to remember them to keep them from hurting and missing the imaginary friends. But Jane does not ... - Pulled me in...
Yes, the whole premise of this story is a bit strange, but that is really what drew me to it in the first place. It's very touching, though a bit confusing at times, but that is somewhat easily overlooked when you focus on how heart-warming the underlying theme is...

I am going to bypass the summary and go straight to what I thought of it.
I enjoyed Sam's Letters to Jennifer and Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas so I was excited to see another romantic drama by James Patterson. Patterson's use of a co-author worried me (it leads me to believe the co-author wrote the entire manuscript) however, I decided to give it a shot when I saw it on the library shelves.
The main character, Jane, is hard to like. She makes bad choices and lacks a backbone, ... Read More

- Every Woman Deserves A Michael
Every Woman Deserves a Michael...
Whether he's real or imaginary...having a Michael to love and guide you through life is a definite "must have".Jane certainly benefited by having both an imaginary Michael and a real-life Michael by her side.He helped her deal with an overpowering mother, Vivienne Margaux (the magnificent Vivienne, by the way), a worthless prima donna boyfriend named Hugh McGrath, who deserved that punch in the face and then some, along with a lifetime of fighting the ...
