- A good stand-alone Alex Cross Book
I enjoyed listening to this stand alone audio book.While it is good to know some of the past adventures, this story is fully developped in this one book.Alex Cross follows the clues to solve the crime.Kyle Craig's appearance is a little convenient, setting up future Alex Cross adventures.I recommend reading this book if you are into reading the Alex Cross series.

I just finished the book.....WOW, so much action!This book doesn't disappoint, we always get that climatic ending that James Patterson is famous for!I'm very much a fan of the Alex Cross books and also am a fan of Kyle Craig (who I think is Cross' best villian ever).So this book introduced us to DCAK (another villian) and brought back Kyle Craig who has escaped ADX Florence and is back on the move.We also see the budding new romance between Bree Stone and Dr. Cross.The only thing that this ... There aren't too many james patterson novels I haven't like but this one is in another category. If alex Cross is the leading crime fighter in America we're all in trouble. First of all with two sadistic serial killers on the loose and getting tons of media Patterson creates the impression that only three maybe four people are working on this case and one of them is part time, alex cross. He can't even give up his private practice where he is being scammed anyway. If he is such a great detective how ... Read More

The book that I purchased from Acme under Amazon, Alex Cross, Double Cross was horrible.EVERY PAGE HAD PENCIL UNDERLINE on it in sections.The person also subtracted the number of pages read and wrote the answer at the beginning of each chapter.I will never order a book from ACME again.

After the "hype" about James Patterson's novels, I expected a bit more depth in the story. I think this plot was a little far-fetched. Not one of my best reads.
