And after California's golden boy, Michael Campion has been missing for a month, there finally seems to be a lead in his case--a very devastating lead.

As fire after fire consume couples in wealthy, comfortable homes, Lindsay and the Murder Club must race to find the arsonists responsible and get to the bottom of Michael Campion's disappearance. But suddenly the fires are raging too close to home.

Frightened for her life and torn between two men, Lindsay must find a way to solve the most daunting dilemmas she's ever faced--at work and at home.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - More Patterson Pablum
I know better than to spend my own money on a "new" Patterson novel, I wait until the library has one available.

It seems that James puts out a "book" every other month, often with a co-author who most likely wrote most of the pages; so, its as good or bad as the co-author's talent or lack of same.

Most of his recent "book's" are really short story's if you use normal type (not jumbo); don't count blank or a few sentence "pages" as pages; eliminate all the useless words ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Another wnner from Patterson
I really enjoyed this book and this series. I will keep reading them. I have been disappointed in a couple of Patterson's books but not many, and none of the women's murder series. This book is fast paced and suspenseful and keeps one eager to turn the page. That can make for a problem when it gets past bedtime!

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Unlucky 7th for the Club
Reading this one out of order, before 'The 6th Target', didn't help, but even I'd read them in the right order, I still wouldn't have rated this one very highly.
Lindsay's personal life/romantic triangle subplot, tends to dominate the story, and, for the first time in a 'multiple cases' story, neither one of the action subplots is very good. The 'JFK Jr.' rip-off plotline ends up being a waste of time, and the arsonist plot thread is undone by ridiculously corny dialogue, which I guess is supposed ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - James Patterson 7th Heaven
This book is a fast read - one that is hard to put down. Once again I am not disappointed in a James Patterson book. Thanks for the large print as I am a 74 year old widow with type 2 diabetes and my eyesight is beginning to give me problems. My only concern is the rising costs of the hard back books with the large print. With these troublesome times I would suggest a review of costs so we could continue to support your books.Kathleen Odell

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - A good read
I'll keep this short & simple. Im a fan of Patterson's "Womens Murder Club" & "Alex cross" series. This book was a good read, not great, but certainly good. I was left wanting things to have ended differently but you won't be dissapointed.
