- Very Informative
A very well written book exploring and explaning the different functions of Capture NX2. I have discovered things I didn't know about the product.

The book is easy to read, but lacks at some points quick reminders about simple operations, i.e. it's not for real beginners.
Given that Capture NX2 is not the most intuitive software around, a better effort on explaining simple commands would be welcome.
For instance you never know whether Capture accepts a double click or the enter button to fix a modification. And this changes from case to case...
Hopefully the next edition will be more explanatory.

When I'm on my PC installed software Nikonov Capture NX 2, it entered many questions that I had no answers; e.g. `why I cannot successfully reproduce a photo lesson which is clearly illustrated on You Tube?'. When I bought this book, I got answers to all my questions, and in seven days learned about software much more than exploring the whole last month. Therefore this book warmly recommend as the most cost-effective investment.

Bought this book several months ago.So far it has been very useful.It seems well put together with examples of picture correction,Good explainations and easy to follow.Worth it!

This is one of those guides that is great for the beginner but also will offer useful knowledge to an experienced user as well. It is well written with plenty of good examples and tips. It also has a great section on RAW files that deals not only with NEF, Nikon's specific format, but all RAW data and it's advantages over the other formats. I find it a must have for anyone who wants to understand the power of NX2 without spending months experimenting.
