- Every Parent Needs a Copy for the Bookshelf
Every Parent needs this as a reference guide. The whole book is basically how to tell when your child is sick enough to warrant a doctor. As insurance prices sky rocket and many of us pay for our own doctors visit at $200 a visit this book can save us all a lot of money. Each chapter goes over common childhood illnesses, like ear infections and how you can treat them at home. The moral of the story stay away from your doctor unless your kids are REALLY sick. - Use Caution when Reading
How to raise a healthy child in spite of your Doctor is a well written book with some commen sense comments, valiant points, and quite a bit of out dated with some misleading not factual concepts. I wouldn't recommend to a new parent, because I don't believe it would lead you to make the right choices for your child.
Rating:
- excellent book!
This is an excellent book for those concerned with genuine health for their children, but not for those who blindly lead the medical establishment in making their children sick for a lifetime.

- Healthy Children
I have had this book since 1985, it was invaluable in helping me raise two healthy children.I have just given it as a Christmas gift to my daughter & son-in-law, parents to my grandson & to my son & daughter-in-law who are expecting their first child this year.....what more is there to say??

In particular, it will make you rethink:
1.Why should I give my baby so many vaccinations? ... Read More
