Product Description:
"Dick, I need a war."
Nicolas Creel is a man on a mission. He heads up the world's largest defense contractor, The Ares Corporation. Dick Pender is the man Creel retains to "perception manage" his company to even more riches by manipulating international conflicts. But Creel may have an even grander plan in mind.
Shaw, a man with no first name and a truly unique past, has a different agenda. Reluctantly doing the bidding of a secret multi-national intelligence agency, he travels the globe to keep it safe and at peace.
Willing to do anything to get back to the top of her profession, Katie James is a journalist who has just gotten the break of a lifetime: the chance to interview the sole survivor of a massacre that has left every nation stunned.
In this terrifying, global thriller, these characters' lives will collide head-on as a series of events is set in motion that could change the world as we know it. An utterly spellbinding story that feels all too real, THE WHOLE TRUTH delivers all the twists and turns, emotional drama, unforgettable characters, and can't-put-it-down pacing that readers expect from David Baldacci-and still goes beyond anything he's written before.

Rating: 3 out of 5 stars - Another Great Baldacci Tale
This novel had the usual excellence of a Baldacci story. The characters are believable and the story current to the world. I wonder if this is the start of a new series like that of the Camel Club. Nevertheless I will read any thing that this author writes.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - A Partially Good Book
I enjoyed "The Whole Truth" despite its many shortcomings. The villain is your typical flat James Bond movie bad guy who has unlimited resources and wants to shape the world into something he believes will be more stable and lucrative.

To make this world a reality he creates an internet hoax dubbed The Red Menace that brings the activities of Russia and China into question and he watches the media hoard whip everyone into a frenzy.

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Corporate Corruption 10-Fold
Have you ever wondered what would happen if a corporation had too much power and was run by a twisted mind? How about a powerful military contracting firm? In The Whole Truth unabridged on 9 CDs in hard, vinyl box, Nicolas Creel wants to spur weapons build-up among the world powers, but to recreate the Cold War, Creel must set the pieces in motion to ensure two major superpowers or super power wanna-be nations are at odds--Russia and China. Meanwhile, Shaw an underground operative for a secretive ... Read More

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Out of his element
I have read most of Baldacci's books but I found this one to be abominable. This book reads like a bad Harold Robbins novel with most sentences no more than five words long. There are so many "coincidences" and shameless references to bad vs. good people, I found it difficult to finish this piece of work.I would not recommend this to any serious readers with a half a brain. This is tripe.I have enjoyed most of his work but this is the bottom.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Where is David Baldacci?
I could not finish this book and I like David Baldacci's novels. After the umpteenth time that Shaw cries over or loses control of himself over the death of his Anna, I shut the book and chucked it.Unbelievable characters written over the top like something on Lifetime TV and then overacted. Was this going to be TV script or movie?
I did not care about any of the characters despite Baldacci continuously telling me about their inner thoughts and motivations.I got it already, get on with ... Read More
