I've enjoyed this book tremendously. It was refreshing to see topics often avoided by politicians being addressed (monetary policies, etc). I'd like to point out something that bothered me while reading this excellent book -- the lack of citations. I enjoyed the many quotes found in the book; Being the type of person who likes to "go to the source" of things, I was often frustrated that the sources were not cited. Please consider adding citations in the next edition.

This book should be mandatory reading for all citizens and students -- very valuable and thought provoking.This book discusses in clear and simple language key issues such as: the current financial crisis, runaway government spending and crushing debt, our economy, the terrible risks of Inflation, the need for Sound Money, Constitutional Powers, Environmentalism, Foreign Policy and more centrally - LIBERTY.Although I don't agree 100% with everything Ron Paul says, I wish I Had Read This Before ... Ron Paul has been called crazy, and in equal measure is viewed as a leader of the libertarian movement.
He asks radical questions and proposes radical solutions. Some of these are bound to be disasterous. Some of them maybe not.
There are many things Paul asks that are not discussed in the mainstream media.
Some of his claims include:
