- Decent but overated
its an ok book but considering the length its not a very good bang per page. Also, a book has never scared me ever so maybe thats my problem. I thought the intro was pretty cool but some of the book just had some painful boring moments. Especially when they took you back in time to discuss some of derrys history. Also, I never cared about what happened when they were kids because you knew them as adults. If they were being chased you knew they werent going to die because they are adults now. I think ... - A loooooooong book, but well worth the read
I remember this book...Took me forever to get done reading it.But, let me say that of all the Stephen King books, "It" was (and still is) the only book that literally scared the crap out of me (and I don't scare that easily).
Stephen King's #1 book - "The Stand".
Stephen King's #2 book - "It".
"It" is the type of book that uses the power of memory and things from your childhood days as a basis for this book.Put it this way... With "It", Stephen King finds that one ... Read More

- Amazed
They sold this book as "Good".I would be amazed to see what "poor" looks like."Acceptable" would be a better description.

- Ridiculous!
I just finished reading IT last night. These are my thoughts:

The novel had a few scary parts.I was most chilled over the mystery of the missing children at first. The individual ... Read More

- Starts off great, and then slowly loses me. A mixed-bag.
"It" starts off so exciting with so much promise. Then the story started to drag for me and I started to get bored towards the middle and end. I had to drag myself over the finish line in this marathon of a book.
The reason for my mixed feelings is the boredom I felt reading this about halfway through and, like many others, the bizarre ending. Without giving anything away, the turtle and the part featuring Beverly and the boys near the end I just didn't get. I almost feel S. King just lost ... Read More
