- love the whole series
Some of the books are better than others but none of them are worth passing up. I honestly can't understand some of the complaints about the writing or characters in the books. This isn't hemingway folks. For what these books are, you really can't get any better.
Rating: - A NEW AND EXCITING VERSION OF VAMPIRES!
I bought this book after reading the entire midnight breed series and was having a serious withdrawal from vampires. The reviews on this book did not disappoint. Actually, I loved it, perhaps more than midnight breed... I love how all vampire stories have the same sort of idea, but are somewhat different with every author. I have to say that I did like this version that incorporated the possibility of half-breed vampires. Great love story as well.

Vampire series can be stale and boring, but Dark Lover breathes new life into a traditional monster.The story sets up the Black Dagger Brotherhood wonderfully.Everytime a question is answered, more arise and the more we are intrigued with this elite group of warriors.i just started the second book in the series and I can't wait to see what happens next!
Rating: - This series is the "gold standard" in which I rate all other PR books!
I love this series!Getting past the slang was my only issue, however it makes since that the characters would speak in this manner.The story line is wonderful and the characters are unforgetable!

I am a huge paranormal romance fan.I love Keri Arthur and Laurell Hamilton.This book didn't do it for me.All the weird made up words just didnt make sense.The book opens up with a glossery and then just starts.No background, no information, just 2 guys with strange names hanging out in a bar.Kudos to those who got through it and like it.I really wanted to like it but just don't.
