- I read this in one day and giggled throughout.
I saw this book on a table at Barnes and Noble and picked it up to see what it was about. I started laughing at the first page and had to purchase it. I read it on my way home and didn't put it down until I was finished. I giggled out loud through most of it.
I am new to Jen Lancaster, but will now be reading the rest of her books. She's sharp and hilarious and (despite what some other reviewers may say) wonderfully real and likable. I love that she is a happy person just as she is ... Read More
Rating: - Haven't laughed out loud since Erma Bombeck
Really, I am a 59 year old Ph.D. and thought this book was screamingly funny...it is what it is which is a sharp, smart younger voice - a fabulously funny read!I used to read Erma Bombeck and laugh so loudly I'd snort - everyone around me would wonder what the hell I was reading.That hasn't happened again in all these years of reading until Jen Lancaster....good for her!Great for me!

I LOVED this book.Jen is just so funny and honest.She doesn't really care that she comes across cross or ego-centric.She's just herself.I love that!I laughed a lot reading this (just like her other book!).She's just a great author!

I thought this book was terrible, it was my first by J.L. and will be my last. I hated all the footnotes, it broke up the flow of the story. If you are curious about this book get it used not new...
