- Exciting action. Some logic problems with the mystery
Harry Dresden doesn't like Morgan--a wizard who's often expressed the desire to execute Harry. But when Morgan shows up on Harry's doorstep with a story about being framed for the murder of a senior member of the White Council, Harry doesn't have to think much before offering to help. Morgan would do a lot of things, but he'd never go against the Council. But if Morgan didn't do it, someone with the power to frame him, with the desire to launch a destructive war between the Council and the Vampire ... Read More

- This Series Is Like A Fine Wine!
I just finished this book. What a ride! I LOVED IT!!!! I've read them all and I can honestly say this series is like a fine wine ... it just keeps getting better and better. Ever since I first started reading The Dresden Files series, I've been hooked. And after each book, I think to myself, "this is the best one ever!". But along comes the next one, and it's even better. Wow! Thank you Jim Butcher!!!!!!!!!

- Turn this way
Another fun and compelling adventure for Dresden.I'm still in the middle of the book, but I am confident in recommending it anyhow.I plan on checking out some of Mr. Butcher's other works as well, but I hope that he continues to reveal more of the magic he has brought forth thus far in the Dresden novels.

I've been reading the Dresden Files since a friend turned me on to them when there were about 3-4 books out in the series. While I've always enjoyed them and have read all of them, the series itself hasn't been at the top of my favorites list. It's a great world and I love Harry's humor, and his Beetle, but the books in general ... Read More

- At last,,, and while you are waiting...
Finally a new Dresden book which is a life enriching event. If like me you also read Glen Cook's Garret the Detective books, that series has a new addition too.
