This is a great Book for first time Mac users and seniors.
Well illustrated and easy to follow instructions.

Handy book - goes over the basics, making this a great reference book, especially useful for applications that are not often used. I like the visual part which allows me to relate what is being said to where it's at on my computer.

I own Florida MacTutor. My students are mostly novices (and generally senior citizens). Teach Yourself Visually presents Mac OS X Leopard in a concise and clear way -- along with pictures of what the screen should look like with every step that is taken.
It is very complete in its scope. An excellent book which I highly recommend.

Having a pictorial way of helping you to learn how to use the Mac is so much better than just reading instructions.

This volume is excellent. It's easy to read and understand. Helps to make up for the fact that Apple doesn't put any manual of value in the computer box these days.
