Product Description:
Shut Up, Stop Whining & Get a Life
This is not your typical self-help book. You won't find any motivational platitudes or cute business parables here. This is more of a "get off your butt and get to work" approach that can help you achieve more success, make more money, improve your business, and have more fun.
Larry Winget doesn't pull any punches here. He believes that business gets better when businesspeople get better through personal growth. And it works the same way in your personal life-husbands and wives improve each other when they improve themselves, and kids improve when their parents do. In other words, everything in life gets better when you get better, and nothing gets better until you get better.
This book can make you better, but it will probably tick you off. Winget is direct, caustic, and controversial. You won't like or agree with everything he has to say. Yet his advice is full of wisdom and truth that can't easily be argued with.
Words from Shut Up, Stop Whining & Get a Life that prove that this book is anything but typical:
"If you don't have much going wrong in your life, then you don't have much going on in your life."
"When you work, work! When you play, play! Don't mix the two."
"What you think about, talk about, and do something about is what comes about."
"When it quits being fun-quit."
"Time management is a joke."
And that's just the beginning!

Without a doubt a top notch book.Larrys' blunt truth about human nature is shocking but real and necessary to get us off our butts to make the changes we need to make. This book will help you realize that you are the one who can make your own life better.
The Life Path Journal is also an awesome book. It's a workbook that will help you plan a better life and put those plans into action.Life Path Journal: Who are you, what do you want and how are you going to get there?

- Nothing new here.
Winget presents a philosophy to life that is really not all that new. As a matter of fact, it could all be summarized in one sentence: if you want things to happen, you have to make them happen. That's all fine and dandy, but were Winget fails is where he tries to tread new ground. He admits that he doesn't know much about relationships and it shows in his ridiculously simple, almost childlike vision on that matter. His advice about how to deal with disease is especially pernicious, since he goes ... Read More

- Shut up, Stop Whining & Get a life
If your worried about being more politically correct than being true to yourself, then you might want to check out this book.
Larry Winget offers some in your face, common sense, great advice.
He really gives you a fresh look, take, whatever you want to say, on how you interact and deal with people everyday, and how you deal with yourself as well.
At least that's my take from the book.
Well worth the money, its a purchase I am happy I made.

- My Opinion
If you can find a used copy of this book for about two bucks you'll be getting your money's worth, but at retail it is overpriced.
The author relates a story about a previous book he had written, and it came to his attention that several pages were blank. His conclusion was that most people hadn't even noticed because they were not reading deep into the book which is a flaw in the intellect of the average reader. But, earlier in this book he advises that if a book you are reading seems ... Read More

The book is definitely entertaining, I'll give it that.I still don't know what makes this guy such an expert. He doesn't really seem that bright. His solutions to success are very simple, work hard, save money.I wonder if he could help me lose weight, lemme guess, eat right and exercise?thanks Larry.
He acts like he's the first guy to come up with the whole "blame yourself" for your lack of success bit.
I enjoy his books, but I don't expect them to change my life.
