- graphics not "fit" for iPhone and iTouch kindle software users
This review applies to folks interested in digital purchases envisioned for use on small-format devices, namely, users of the Kindle software for iPhone or iTouch devices. No doubt the printed book and purchasers with the actual Kindle hardware will be fine with this otherwise excellent material.
If you are going to purchase this electronically with the intent to only view it on an iPhone or an iTouch - DO NOT. You will be disappointed in how small the music and other diagrams are - ... Read More

- Great Way To Learn Theory Basics
This is a great way to learn or teach Guitar Theory Basic's I bought this to use with students I teach, This is a very great way to learn guitar theory so if are new to guitar or teach students you cant go wrong with this book. Finally a Theory Book that cuts to chase and really teaches something on a level all can understand.

- No wasted words
This book is very tightly written and skimming is not an option. The lack of extraneous text should not take away from its content. The theory is presented in a straight forward and comprehensive way each section building on the last. So, if you don't get it jumping ahead is not going to help.I am sure that it really does lend itself as a supplement to any guitar method because the material is universal. It has helped me encapsulate what I have learned in class in one written place.
