Product Description:
This book is a primary review tool to prepare students for both the internal medicine clerkship and the end-rotation NBME shelf examination. This logical alternative to several limited-focus books blends a bullet-outline format students prefer in a review book with comprehensive paragraphs, as needed, for optimal preparation. Illustrations, charts, tables, graphs, mnemonics, and "Quick Hits" pearls for the clerkship speed and supplement learning. Ample content without superfluous detail enables students to readily evaluate and expand their knowledge of cardiology, pulmonary medicine, gastroenterology, hematology, neurology, endocrinology, rheumatology, nephrology, genitourinary disorders, fluids and electrolytes, dermatology, and musculoskeletal problems.A new section in this Second Edition presents 100 USMLE-style clinical vignette-based questions with answers. A color insert contains over thirty full-color images.A companion Website will offer the fully searchable text and color photographs.

- Not as good as medical handbook!
If u can use medical handbook like Harrison , it would be better . This book is only good for 2nd and 3 rdmedical students . Not good for resident level .
Rating:
- Amazing book
This was the best investment for my money and my time when preparing for step 2. One of the best books I've ever read, condensed but adequate, it pinpoints exactly what you need to know. I am a resident now and it still is one of my favorites. I give it a five.
Rating:
-A must have for step 2ck and step 3 USMLE
a nice complete review book with no mistakes, professionally and friendly written i find it more than helpful for my prep for step 2 ck , with a bonus of the online subscription that comes with the book
cons: the hematology and renal chapters need to be more inclusive, yet its a review and not a textbook, overall 5 stars

- Excellent Resource
Excellent book. Well written and organized. I used it during my 3rd year rotations with great success. Provides an easier read then the straight bullet format of some other review books.I have noticed the occasional type-o, but I would strongly recommend this book for 3rd/4th years.
