Rating: - One of the best Spanish verb books!
It's crazy that you can buy this book for only $12. It's full of useful information that will help you understand how to use verbs in different tenses... the explanations are clear and there are examples after them and plenty of useful exercises (mostly translating sentences and paragraphs but there are a few true and false) . Going through the book thoroughly once, I've improved my Spanish and I'm now a lot more confident with using verbs. There are a couple things that would have been good to include... ... Read More

I hope the publisher reads these reviews. I'd like to underscore the requests made by Dan Sehnal above, especiallyto add more exercises that mix the material learned in the last chapter with what has gone before -- something that surprisingly few grammar exercise books do. It's essential for really absorbing the material. (Note to other readers: I was able to accomplish something similar by making flashcards out of the key examples. There's always aworkaround.)

This book moves through the verb tenses in the usual order. It is a good review of tenses already learned and a great teaching tool for tenses that still need practice. It presents the material in an easy-to-learn format. It supplements the other learning I am doing through classes, online lessons and other books. It is definitely helping concrete the correct use of the Spanish language in my head.

For less than $10, you get a really great book on Spanish verbs.Listening to tapes is definitely the right way to go (I like Behind the Wheel Spanish) but if you want to move to the next level, you've got to learn how to conjugate verbs and practice.This book gives you both.Quick, easy to understand explanations and lots and lots of practice with the answers in the back.You could pay a lot more buy why?I also have the pronoun workbook but I prefer this one because verbs are the core of fluency.
