- GREAT book unlike any other
I have two editions, I just bought another. My first book, I bought in 1980 when I graduated and started my first job as an ICU RN . This book was recommended by coworkers and it was a great way to learn EKG rhythms. It has programmed learning taking you from the basics one step at a time, and provides review with fill in the blank. This way you know you are ready to move on. Rating: - Easy way to master EKG's
This book is amazing! It was hard to get used to his format at first (pictures on every page & Fill in the blanks on every line), but it helped me to retain the information and understand all the concepts every well.

I would highly recommend this book to every medical student. I am a student myself and I have read a lot of EKG material only to realize that I could not remember anything a week later. This book covers basics of EKG, and it does it in a way that it actually sticks into you mind. Great explanations, you learn about EKG step by step, and understand it, not just memorize it. Of course this book is not enough to read EKG in clinical practice, but it gives you good foundation for further studying.
