Although Dr. Caroline Myss is not a physician--the Dr. is from a Ph.D.--she is a medical intuitive and teaches people how to link their own health with their states of mind. In this twin set of videos (running a total of about 3 hours), she outlines seven energy centers in the body and instructs viewers in how to focus the energy positively. She begins each tape with a brief introduction aimed at viewers of the video and then switches to her lecture before a studio audience, during which she illustrates her points using the outline of a human body on a high-tech version of a chalkboard. Even though she is usually the only person on camera, Myss is active and expressive, peppering her delivery with humor and anecdotes. Her knack for pithy summations ("You can visit the past as much as you want. Caroline has set herself a high standard with her previous written work and audio lectures (which definitely get her 5 stars), and has been building up to this taped presentation for some time.She has made severalreferences to it on her audio tapes, stating she intended to producecomputer-based animation demonstrating the degradation of local bodyfunctions in relation to energy disharmonies at the various chakra levels.
