- A must read if you run a business or are involved in sales
This is really a compresensive review of how to sell anything, motivate people, and run your business on auto-pilot.I bought the book on CD version to maximize my time driving. My only complaint is that you have to sift out the 5-10% of exaggeration and bravado. He has a huge ego, and it shows on every page. However, a guy with this kind of history of success is going to have a big ego.If you want to learn how to put together a comprehensive marketing plan that doesn't break the bank, if you ... Rating:
- Outstanding Information
Everyone is in the business of selling and this is a very well written book with solid examples on strategies and tactics.I would have loved to have read this earlier on in my career when it would have mattered a ton more.Even as a book on getting things done on a personal level, you will find new ways of thinking about things in this book. And offering new ways of thinking about things is not something that can be said about a lot of books on sales.
Rating:
- One of the best business books I have ever read
I consider this to be the best business book I have ever read, particularly for sales and marketing. I use the strategies in this book for my marketing firm and for helping my clients and the strategies work. Buy this book and study it.

- The Ultimate Sales Disappointment
Chet Holmes is a salesman, and YOU are his target! In his Ultimate Sales Machine, Chet's message boils down to "be pigheaded and determined."Chet's idea is that if you are constantly aggressive, you will wear down your prospects, who will come to admire you for being so "pigheaded."
Save your money.Chet offers nothing fresh, nothing innovative, nothing of value.
Chet Holmes proclaims himself as "America's GREATEST sales and marketing executive."If by "Greatest" ... Read More
Rating:
- Good book - somewhat arrogant
First off - I used this book to change my business. It did help me to create more sales and increase lead flow. That is a HUGE positive.I bought the book from his reputation - Chet is a masterful business strategist.
I thought it was salesly in portions.Perhaps I am jaded because I hear his commercials all of the time on satellite radio.
It is worth a read however - great value in here.
