- Shows the way to great journaling.
Having purchased and read a number of books on journaling and sketching, this book is probably the best in that it shares how the images were created, not just the images.Wonderful!
Rating: - Pretty good
To be honest, this book isn't breaking any new ground.There's nothing in here that can't be found in other places, from magazines to other books on this topic.However, I didn't feel like I was just wasting my time or money with this book.This book is full of pages by some of my favorite artists.There are prompts and how tos throughout.In general, it was just a very pretty, very satisfying read for me.I enjoyed it and I'm glad it's made its way into my library.

- Make journaling fun
I will be giving a journal workshop later in January and I now have some new ideas to present.I used the fauxto booth idea for a journal spread and liked the process and the result.
Rating: - For this one, buy paper not electronic
As much as I love my Kindle, it just wouldn't do justice to this book. You will want a full color, paper edition that you can examine very closely, as it is packed to the gills with ideas. There is enough inspiration here to keep you buzzing for months!

This book really addresses speaking from your authentic self, which is how you get to a unique expression in your art journaling. She is a great teacherr.
