- WOW! The title says it all....
I am a cradle Catholic and found this book to be very helpful at explaining the Catholic Mass. I no longer ask "Why do we do that?"
I read this book cover to cover and enjoyed it very much. It is easy to read and is organized thoughtfully inline with each step of the Mass.
This book takes you step by step through the Catholic Mass. Along the way, it suggests ways to help you maintain focus while praying. It gives very good insight about the different aspects of the Mass. ... Read More

As a Catholic convert, who did not receive a lot of information when I converted, I didn't have a lot of answers for my granddaughter. I am raising her, and she is making her first communion.This book has been very helpful to both of us.

- An absolutely wonderful explanation of the Mass we celebrate.
I have been waiting years for a book like this. It is a clear, concise, straightforward, and meaningful explanation of the entire Mass. It starts before we open the doors (which have significant and poignant meaning themselves), and continues to us standing outside those same doors after Mass, while explaining everything in between.
