This book is GREAT for planning a get-together! It lays out a complete menu for different occasions. It also breaks the preparation down into a time line, from days to months prior, so you don't have to worry about rushing to do it all the day of.

The original south beach diet cookbook- the one with the orange cover, was so great, i cooked and ate to my little heart's content and never felt deprived for a moment. The Holidays and parties cookbook, however, is really lacking. Most of the stuff in there like whole wheat pasta in marinara, chicken with artichokes, lean hot dogs with mustard is so basic and obvious, there is no need for a recipe. Not bad stuff, but i know enough about nutrition and basic ingredients to throw these things together ... Read More

I'm very happy with this book as it provides a slew of healthful recipes.The point of the book is to provide recipes for foods that are ideal for parties and holidays (hence the title) that can be enjoyed without throwing off your weight-loss goals.A must for anyone trying to stick to their lifestyle eating changes during these trying times!

I was on a South beach diet kick. I still use the recipes out of the books. They really come in handy. The book was in great condition when I recieved it. Perfect. Thankyou will buy from seller again.
