- never got my book
My book was shipped to my old address and it has yet to be sent to me. Neither Amazon or the apartment where the book was shipped will help. I was also told I cannot get my money back. I bought this book along with "Those Left Behind" another Fire fly book neither made it to my house.

- Nice production values, weak story....
While this comic looks great I found the three part story very superficial and the ending disappointing nonsense.I kept looking for missing pages (the comic's pages are unnumbered) that would fill in the story, which, after all, is the main attraction of Serenity/Firefly.
I can't really explain my disappointment with the ending without giving it "away", but I really can't recommend you purchase this unless you are just completing your Serenity collection.Suffice it to say - weak ... Read More
Rating: - Why is it so tiny?
If I could rate the printing lower without hurting rating average for the content, I would.I was surprised upon receiving my copy to find that it's noticeably smaller than letter sized pages and other graphic novels I own. (And my original set of all the "Those Left Behind" covers.)Really good content, though.Poor Kaylee...
Rating: - Why was this nominated for the Hugo Award?
The only reason I can think of is that Joss Whedon has a rabid fan following that will buy/read/nominate anything he does, not matter how remarkably average.Better Days comes off like a TV episode, which I suppose is a good thing for the fans, but for those of us who have never seen Firefly it is just a disjointed mess.A skimpy plot and no characterization do not make for a good story.The artwork is nice, but not spectacular.

This graphic novel was a necessary purchase for a Firefly fan like me.The art work is above average, and looks like the actors from the show.The humor was very Whedon.
I had a couple complaints.One was that the Chinese used in the story is actually written in Chinese characters, so it cannot be pronounced unless you actually READ Chinese, and there is no translation for it.As a person who has found out what all the Chinese from the show meant, this is disappointing to me.
