- just ok
I just finished reading the book last night and I'm not going to say it was great, but I won't say it was horrible either. The story seemed sluggish and I kept reading hoping it would pick up, and then it was the end.

The Host: A Novel

if you loved twilight series, you are really going to love the host, same author, i would buy any books that she might write in the future.
the only complaint i have, is that i really am sad when the book is done and there are no more pages to read !

- Fun sci-fi/romance...for women!
Slight spoilers:
Fun book to read.Read it twice.Meyer definately loves her characters, but in this one, her main really takes a beating, often. AT 600 pages, it wasn't long enough!
I normally don't like science fiction; maybe this isn't technically sci-fi, but it is definately close to it as I'd get...
