Rating:
- Needs updating
This set needs thorough updating. Several of the books still discuss preparation for taking the written exam. But this lack of attention to detail doesn't really affect the content. The clarity of the content is good overall, but there are also some small sections which are awkward and a bit confusing.
In terms of comparison between Exam Krackers and Kaplan, Exam Krackers has similar content to Kaplan, going into more detail in certain areas and at other times Kaplan can be more detailed. ... Read More

- A Great Value and a Good Supplement
I bought this study volume as my first real MCAT prep material.
I found the physics and chemistry books to be really valuable, because the writers do a good job in helping you master important subjects like electrochemistry and acid/base chemistry. They do so by breaking the topics down into palatable and digestible portions (I'm hungry right now, sorry).

- I compiled the data from all the 5 star reviews, an honest look.

But I just wanted to give prospective buyers a heads up - THESE BOOKS ARE FULL OF TYPOS, AND YOU HAVE TO PAY TO SEE THE CORRECTIONS!In the book's introduction, it suggests that you check the published ... Read More

- I love these books so far!
I have only started studying for the MCAT but I am already very happy with the books. Each section (bio, chem, etc) is it's own seperate book so you don't have to haul around one giant book. Each chapter is very consice and to the point with plenty of good animation. They also tell you what is the most important information and what is good background info.I have also studied with Kaplan books and I find Examkrackers much more useful!I highly recommend these books, because a lot of these classes are ...
