- Just Passed PMP Exam
I recently passed the PMP exam on my first attempt--thank God (literally)! My main resources were the PMBOK, Rita's "PMP Exam Prep" and Andy Crowe's "The PMP Exam: How to Pass on Your First Try."All in all I studied between 60-80 hours: including reading the PMBOK once, and Rita and Andy's book(s) twice (roughly), constant review, and practice test questions.I can't say that I preferred one resource (Rita/Andy) over the other, though they did seem to compliment each other quite nicely. The Crowe ... - I PASSED! I highly recommend Rita's Exam prep book.
I highly recommend this book that was highly recommended to me.It was with the help of this book, that I really began to understand the PMBOK guide.I read the book three times through, alongside the PMBOK guide, chapter by chapter. It was going through the questions at the end of each chapter, that I learned the thought process for answering them on the test. Her explanations are just great, and will prevent you from being tripped up.It was on my final review of the questions that I imagined Rita ... - PMP Exam information for Project Managers
Project Manager for over 15 years. I've studied Kerzner's book (good, but time consuming) in preparation for the PMI Exam, it worked. However when I reviewed Rita Mulcahy PMP Exam Prep it showed me how much clearer and easier it is to understand the PMBoK. I am using Rita's PMP Exam Prep book for new students and project managers interested in Project Management Professional certification.
