- A GREAT START
After reading all of the negative reviews for this curriculum, I was slightly apprehensive to use this as a tool for teaching history to my children.I used it as a source anyway because I didn't see many other options out there. - Awesome for bedtime or anytime!
My boys are 6 and 4 and they LOVE this book! We read at least one chapter every evening before bed. As an added bonus, I'm learning more about history by reading this to them than I did from K-12 (pretty sad, I know).

- Great History Resource

- Great History for Children!
This is a great history program for children. The information just about the right length for the younger children and leaves out just enough to make the older ones want more.So that they can go look up more information on there own.

The author does not signal to the reader when she departs from talking about historical fact to talking about legends: THIS IS A HUGE DOWNFALL for a children's history book. I do not recommend this ... Read More
