If you love Jay Black then you'll love this CD. All of the hits. One of my all time favorites.
Rating: - Some, but not all ofthe group hits
Greatest Hits 26 minutes 51 seconds long and was released in 1980. This is a good beginner's cassette. All of the songs on this cassette hit the charts. Greatest Hits cover the years from 1962-1970. We I went to do my research, I was surprised that some of the song did not climb as high as a thought. All songs are original recordings. If you are a Jay & the Americans fan, then this is a good introduction to the group sound. I give Greatest Hits an A+.

The CD that I brought from Amazon is just what I have being looking for. I could'nt find it any were else.
So for old CD's go to Amazon and your chance's are great that you will find it there.

A great CD with all their main hits. I had " Come A Little Bit Closer - The Best Of ", which has a lot more songs, but my copy had a hard time ripping on to my computer. As the cover says, they are 'all original recordings'. It is sad that in this day and age, they still sell remakes (garbage) of all our classic favourites. Maybe these reviews will help people from buying them.
