- Be Very Wary of Amazon Merchants Selling this game
I ordered and received a DOS only version of this game from the Amazon Merchants link (contrary to it being described as Mac and Windows compatible) -- after returning the game (still waiting for a refund) I queried the other listed Amazon Merchants about it being Mac Compatible. All of them eventually responded saying either it wasn't a Mac version, that they didn't know, but thought it wasn't, or didn't know and said return it if it isn't.

- Spiffing Fun
I remember when Mr Nukem and I first became acquainted, it must have been around 10 years ago, and we spent many happy hours shooting and generally blowing things up, you see it was in the days of the last century and everything was simpler then, no multi layered game play with millions of impossible hidden missions and hidden fiddly bits, just good old fashioned shooting and blowing up, allied with some humour. I actually finished the game, I recall some sort of large monster chappie and I had to ... Read More

- Must be the same as total meltdown
I havn't really played this yet. but i was thinking about getting it. But what i really don't see is how people love this game but hate Duke Nukem Total Meltdown for playstation. It's the same thing. I know the graphics and every thing are kind of corny, but it still is fun to play. And thats what videogames are for. Im just saying that you guys should try it

- good game and has replay value.
i admit duke 3d was a good game, but after playing it three times theres really not much to give it any more runs. the game compared to todays games has no story or plot. you basically run around level by level shooting aliens and collecting key cards (not like doom, because doom features demons and hell}. but what makes it different is that it has a lot of sexuallity in it and humor for kids to laugh by.
