The thin,curved blades are perfect for precise cutting, though their fine serrations tendto tear meat fibers rather than slice neatly through them. Stamped fromhigh-carbon stainless steel, these knives are lighter in weight than forgedknives and don't have bolsters, which might not be essential when confronting athick prime rib. The synthetic handles feature classic three-rivet styling withfull tangs for strength. The knives are dishwasher-safe and they carry alifetime warranty against defects. --Fred Brack

- sharp knives
I rarely eat meat, but am always chopping veggies. These knives have survived the "dish-washing" tests, and slicing tomatoes and onions (always a difficulty for me with their skins, and my arthritic hands) makes life a lot easier in the kitchen. I can get thin perfect slices, and the carnivores in the family find them great for meat. For me this was well worth the price!

Got a set of Henckels Twin Pro knives for a wedding gift and decided to buy the steak knives to complement them.So far, love them!

Henckels is a great brand & has consistently great products. We own a set of Henckels Pro-S knives & LOVE them so, I was a little hesitant to order these since the "twin gourmet" series is the cheaper line in the brand however, I shouldn't have worried.These knives are terrific - very sharp & durable & a great buy for the price.We use them practically every day & they are still razor-sharp.Highly recommend!

I bought these for my husband, a gourmet chef. He loves them. They are high quality and the price is right.

- Problems within 4 months.
Within four months the rivets had corroded in all of the knives but I decided to live with it.After 10 months one side of the handle separated from the rivets in one of the knives and it just fell apart.I am sending the whole set back to Henckels immediately.
