From one of Henckels' moderately priced cutlery lines, these four steakknives will divide any rib-eye, chop, or roast into bite-size pieces. The thin,curved blades are perfect for precise cutting, though their fine serrations tendto tear meat fibers rather than slice neatly through them. Stamped fromhigh-carbon stainless steel, these knives are lighter in weight than forgedknives and don't have bolsters, which might not be essential when confronting athick prime rib. - Excellent knives
These knives have good feel to them (good weight). Very good quality. We got 2 sets of them. I would recommend these knives to everyone. GREAT BUY!!!

- Sharp Knives - decent quality - insubstantial
These are nice knives, but they do not have a luxury feel and they are a bit lightweight.If you are familiar with the upper end Henckels kitchen knives, don't expect the same level of quality.I purchased 8 of these, but I intend to replace them with something a bit more upscale.

My wife jealously guards her Henckel knife set.We didn't have the steak knives, so these make her a very happy and contented kitchen goddess.This is a good thing.

Not sure what to say about them, but they seem fine. The blade is sharp near the handle, so if you are holding them close to the blade, you could potentially cut yourself. But they are knives, so you should be careful anyway.

I rarely eat meat, but am always chopping veggies. These knives have survived the "dish-washing" tests, and slicing tomatoes and onions (always a difficulty for me with their skins, and my arthritic hands) makes life a lot easier in the kitchen. I can get thin perfect slices, and the carnivores in the family find them great for meat. For me this was well worth the price!
