Product Description:
Fine steak demands a fine set of utensils. These four knives turn your dining room into a world-class steakhouse, where cutting is part of the experience. The forged stainless steel blades are razor-sharp and effortlessly slice even the thickest cuts of steak. The durable black plastic handles are triple-riveted and feature a full tang for the ultimate comfort. Lifetime warranty.
Amazon.com Review:
With their slim, thin blades curving up to a sharp point, these knives slice a steak into precise bites. "International Classic" is a moderately priced cutlery line made in countries other than Henckels's home of Germany. Henckels's "International Traditional" line is identical except it has hardwood handles. Steel is of lesser quality than Henckels' premier lines. The knives are dishwasher-safe, but not recommended. --Fred Brack

- Great quality set, but higher maintenance
You expect the Henckels name to presume quality craftsmanship, personal choices for everyone, and ultimately some of the most useful and reliable knives that you will ever own. I've only been using my new set for about a month and a half, but what I presumed has been almost entirely true. This set is great, and I certainly would recommend it to anyone so long as they understand the following two negatives that I've found while using them.

- Nice sharp knives
These knives replaced a nice set of Kitchen Aid knives, and they were a definite upgrade. While the Kitchen Aid ones had a nicer "feel" with their contoured handles, there's absolutely no doubt that the Henckels cut noticeablybetter, and in the end that's what a knive if all about. These are so sharp and cut so well that we've started a running gag at home about the knives cutting through (insert material here) "like buttah".

- Pleasantly surprised
I consider the HenkleSteak Knives I puchased a complete success. The price I paid was very resonable the product sturdy and I am looking forward to having a life time of use out of them.

- Same as the entire Classic series
Great knives. I've owned a set for about 6 months and they are still the sharpest set I've used. The handle rivets do lose their shine after a while, the same as the rest on the knives in the Classic series. Are they worth the money? At a stretch, yes, especially if you are buying them to compliment a full Henckels set.

- Henckels....
I am really disappointed in this product - I feel Henckels tries to trick their customers by providing lower quality products under the same label.I understand that the logos are different, but many people buy this set believing they are getting quality German knives for a discount, when in reality they are getting a cheap set of knives that should cost maybe $20, but because of the name are paying $80.As a sales rep and manager for the number 1 selling cutlery brand in the United States, I can ...
