For those who aren't familiar with the term ebleskiver, they are delightful small and spherical pancakes sometimes filled with fruit or nuts, and adored by Scandinavian folk. You can use a basic pancake recipe, or one provided with the pan, and you can get creative with adding other ingredients, powdering with sugar after baking, and so on. In any case, if you want to make ebleskiver, you must have a traditional ebleskiver pan.

this pan is hopeless, no matter what I did I could not get these pancakes to come out in one piece. its a non stick surface but the batter sticks to pan all the time. I would say pass and just make regular pancakes. Great concept but maybe the wholes need to be a bit larger...

Wish there was a tool along with the pan to remove the pancakes. The product quality is OK.If you are not careful, the non-stick will get scratched very easily.

We bought this product after seeing it at our friend's house.My daughter loves using this product and having fun trying different things inside of the pancakes.However, we have only used it 3 times and the inside is already scratched up.We have not used any harsh abrasives on it.But we had some food stick on the inside and from trying to get it off, the inside got scratched.I have other teflon pans that I have had no trouble with and this one scratched so easily.Since its unsafe to use ... Love these little pancakes!Great fun to make and eat. Very easy to make. Used a tart jelly, but eager to try other fillings, as well.My son's girlfriend is Scandanavian,and was so happy to see me making them; reminded her of her family on Christmas morning.Their filling was always apple. However, when hand washing after my first use, little flakes of non-stick coating came off several of the pancake wells.As I used only a wooden chopstick to turn the pancakes, I was really disappointed in the ... Pan does very well.I used a little non-stick cooking spray (lower fat than butter!) in addition to the non-stick surface of the pan.The pan distributes heat very evenly, even with a gas burner.It's much lighter weight than a cast iron version, so picking it up to dump the food onto a plate is much easier.
