Virtually unbreakable, this lightweight, vacuum-insulated thermos travels to work or your favorite recreation spot. On arrival, and for hours afterward, coffee, tea, or soup will still be hot. Or lemonade, pasta salad, or a sports drink will still be chilled. Compact (7 inches high) and shapely, this thermos has a "waist" for firm gripping indented in its satin-finish exterior and tough, nonslip, black plastic top and bottom. There's a choice of two twist tops, one for coffee and another, with a stainless steel strainer, for tea--each has a sip-hole, and a cap twists onto either to prevent spills. I bought this because I love tea & had great success with a Nissan (large) coffee mug (screw top model). Unfortunately this one is not leak-proof like my older coffee mug & tea spills in my bag all the time. Nissan now makes its mugs in China instead of Japan (like my old model). The plastic seams don't fit as snugly to the aluminum container, nor does the plastic lid make an airtight seal on the top (no matter how tight I try to twist it) & so I end up with tea soaking the insides of my bag about ... Rating: - loved mug, but expensive and customer service is not responsive
I loved this mug but it began to leak about a month after I bought it. A month and a half ago I paid $10.00 to send it to Thermos and have not heard anything back from them.
Rating: - NOT as convenient as it appears... But still great
Okay, so its a great mug. There are a few problems. First Not large enough (knew this ahead of time).

Second, if you are someone who likes to brew tea for the correct ammount of time (few minutes), and not just leave the leaves sitting in there, you must carry around a SEPERATE lid for drinking... it is a piece that is SEPERATE from the strainer. Rating: - Intensely Durable
I've had mine for about five years. All the product details/perks have been mentioned in previous reviews so I'll not repeat them here but it should be mentioned that my thermos has endured much punishment from the daily use it's received over the last five years. Many scuffs, dings and dents but it works as well as the day I bought it.

I LOVE this thermos.The variety of tops that come with it make it very convenient to brew tea and then go.I throw the thermos in my bag, and it never leaks!It keeps the tea warm for hours on end.And... it's easy to clean.

I definitely recommend this thermos to everyone!It is a great buy!
