This attachment turns your KitchenAid stand mixer into a citrus juicer, eliminating the need for a second appliance that would take up valuable kitchen storage and counter space. Its four parts--heavy-duty aluminum shaft, reamer, shield, and strainer--are easy to assemble and attach to the stand mixer's powerful motor. Turn the mixer speed to level 6, and the reamer maintains a fast and steady spin. Press your fruit halves against it, and the juice pours out. You do have to exert a bit of pressure to extract all of the juice, but it's certainly not difficult to use. The strainer basket holds back the pulp and seeds as the juice flows into your pitcher. --Betsy Danheim

Pretty good price for what you get. The only thing that would have been nice is if the main parts were made of metal instead of plastic.

This is a good product. Much easier than your standard juicer. The only issue I have with the product is that where the spindle goes in ;there can be black leakage from thespindle shaft. I have cleaned ,dried repeatedly but... still have the leakage. I do like the product;But when I have big batches of oranges or lemonsI do have to check and clean the spindle often.

I had to make 35 gallons of lemonade for a church function.The KitchenAid JE Juicer Stand Mixer Attachment de-juiced all 80 lemons in 1 hour without any problems.I would recommend this item to all who have to de-juice citrius.

KitchenAid JE Citrus Juicer Stand Mixer Attachment
I greased the shaft with butter as suggested earlier and made short work of two bags of lemons that were as big as grapefruits from my uncle's tree in Indio, CA.
I didn't use the included strainer but a sieve over the mouth of a large bowl instead. Worked just fine to keep the seeds and pulp out of the juice. I couldn't get the juice to run down my arm as others report experiencing, so I don't understand how it can be a ... Read More

so glad I did!It's true that it makes a screeching sound if you don't lube up the metal part before using it.After that the noise (nails on a chalkboard) goes away and leaves fresh, perfect OJ in its place!I didn't even bother with the included strainer, but I bought one that fits over the mixer bowl and it catches the seeds and pulp.I did not have any trouble with the process being messy or juice running down my arm, but of course a little bit is going to get on your fingers.What do you ...
