- Broke when I tried to set combination.Requires a key to reset!
This is a terrible product.Unlike almost every other "set-your-own" combination lock out there, you cannot just depress the shackle and set your combination.You have to have the "reset key" that comes with the lock (it is the same key for all of them).Like I need some tiny key to have to keep track of in my life!Also, when I tried to set the combination with the key, some mechanism inside broke, and I was never able to set my combination.

Based on past experience with these they are pretty good. Could last a little longer when used outdoors.

Good sturdy dependable lock. Had used Pelilock before on my gun case when I travel but was compromised. I think the 175D will do the job or at least the crooks will have to use more than pliers.

Take your time when setting the master combination.If you are slightly off your lock just became a fishing weight.
