- I love this blender
This is my second purchase for a Waring classic blender. My first I owned & used daily for over 15 years. When it finally died I looked at other brands & models but went back to the Waring for its simplicity & power. I like just turning it on & off with a high & low speed.
My only complaint is the pouring spout. The shape it wrong & liquid dribbles down the glass. But it works so well that I deal with it.

- Ended up returning it...
Main need was a blender that could handle frozen fruits and such to make smoothies. This blender failed to blend a moderate level of frozen fruits with milk and ice.Dissapointing.Returning it to find something that does a bit better...

We have had it for just a few months, and the nylon drive shaft broke off right at the fastening nut, inside the container.
It has not seen heavy use - making fruit smoothies with fresh fruit and ice that was pre-crushed in a canvas bag the old fashioned way, maybe twice or three times a week.If it won't hold up to this sort of mild use, it isn't worth having.

- Crappy Blender
Got this blender as a christmas gift. I was really excited because the reviews were good and I needed a blender for my daily protein shakes. I figured this would last for a long time since it is a Waring and we have had nothing but good products from them in the past. Boy, was I wrong. The blender set up easily, but the first thing I noticed was that it was fairly small. My shakes are basically 2 cups of water, a fresh banana, ice and maybe some frozen fruit. No nuts or seeds or anything really difficult ... Read More

- Problems with blender
I will not use this product ever again or will I advise others to use it. Whom ever decided to use a nut inside the blender jar was not thinking with his brain. The nut is located on top of the blade shaft just above the blades. I used this machine once a day for about a week then the shaft broke just below the nut. This caused the start of the problem. I sent for a new shaft, but the they dont sell just the shaft. You have to get the whole blade assembly. About $25 plus shipping and handling. I assembled ... Read More
