Add 25 peeled large fresh garlic cloves and poach them for approximately 20-25 minutes until tender and translucent. Take off the heat and leave in pan until the oil is cooled. Use the Stainless Steel Funnel with Screen to strain the garlic from the oil. Remove the Screen and pour the oil through the Funnel into a clean decorative bottle and seal with a screw top or cork. I tried that the first time I used my deep fat fryer.This doesn't filter as much but only takes minutes rather than days.Price was good as well.

This is definitely a very nice funnel - easy to wash up, etc, BUT I feel like the pore size on the filter doesn't catch all the fine stuff like it should.Other than that is easy to use though.
